Dear Dan,
Thank you for writing to us.
A new firmware update for the EOS D60 will be posted at
http://www.powershot.com on Monday, November 25, 2002. The firmware update
will address the following issues:
1. Thumbnail is black. *
2. Data is not written to CF card (or microdrive). **
* Only the thumbnail image is affected, there is no problem with the
mail image.
** With EOS D60 cameras that have firmware version 1.0.0, 1.0.1, or
1.0.2 installed, in cases where data is stores in the camera's buffer
memory has not yet been written to the CF card or microdrive, that data
will be written when the menu button is pressed, or when the shutter
button is pressed halfway.
