hey guys saw this posted on forums at DPreview.com but i dont think i've seen it here.
'previously if you wanted AI Servo without being limited to Sports mode (locked ISO, shutter, aperture, everything) you had to trip the AI Focus somehow to switch by focus far then focus close techniques (or other various whatever) but in that case You had to redo it every shot which gets annoying. they posted a workaround this so it stays in AI Servo mode.
1. buy a 2.5mm mono jack (radio shack or so, should be cheap)
2. put the camera in Burst mode (otherwise it returns to One Shot after each shot)
3. trip the AI Focus to go into AI Servo somehow for this one time
4. while half-pressed still, plug in the 2.5mm jack
5. wala u can let go and it will be on AI Servo for as long as the jack is there
basically it simulates the shutter release being half-pressed for you so it stays in AI Servo. shoot action stuff in ISO100 woot. you can stop thinking about the 10D for now...'
