Auch wenns nicht gerade jeder besitzt (ich auch nicht).
Fands per Zufall und vielleicht kann der ein oder andere es ja gebrauchen?

Sehr gut. Das ist dann wohl die optimale Lösung, damit sollte das Objektiv dann auch wieder in den Koffer passen. Das ging nämlich mit der Vorgängerform nicht.

Hallo,

auch, wenn etwas älter das Thema:

Ich habe mir den 4thGD Fuß bestellt. Der erste Eindruck ist gut, da er ca. 150 Gramm weniger wiegt als der orig. Fuß mit einer Wimberley C40 Platte. Schön ist er auch ;)

Etwas enttäuscht bin ich allerdings von der Tatsache, dass das Tragen gar nicht so gut geht wie es bei Naturescapes geschrieben wird. Ist etwas zu eng, 5mm höher wären deutlich besser. Und die Stabilität ist zwar gut, wenn man aber die Objektiv/Kamera Kombination leicht antippt, schwingt es kurz aus. So, wie ich das Objektiv benutze, spielt es keine Rolle, ich kann mir aber nicht vorstellen, das die gleiche Bauweise und evtl. noch längere Schiene gut für das schwere 600IS ist.

Es ist allerdings 1 Tag und 20 Fotos alt, ich werde es noch besser kennenlernen müßen.

Eure Erfahrungen würden mich auch sehr interessieren.
