Bildzähler (Exif) nach 65536 wieder bei 1

Hallihallo,
meine 1D macht gerade eine Verjüngungskur durch, der Bildzähler ist nach 2hoch16 Bildern (=65536) wieder bei 1 angelangt.... :)
Dies sowohl mit der Freeversion von EOS 1D Info als auch mit Exifer (unknown 13, Parameter 3)
sagt nur, dies ist ein alter Hut - habe nämlich nichts gefunden via Suche..

doch, da fängt das wieder von neuem an, in der unknown13 methode wird aber angezeigt, wie oft neugestartet wurde ;)

Das ist unnötig. Was Du brauchst, ist ein originales JPG direkt aus der Cam, garantiert nicht nachbearbeitet - und dazu ein Programm dazu wie EXIF-READER od. ähnl. Dann suchst Du die folgende Zeile in den EXIF-Daten auf:

Unknown (0093)3,14 : 28,R,ZZZZ,0,0,0,0,0,3,0,0,0,0,0
--------------------------->R x 65536 (Rollover)
----------------------------->ZZZZ (akt. Zählerstand)

Der "Rollover" liegt bei 65536, danach startet der Auslösungszähler immer wieder von vorne, mehr faßt das Speicherregister nicht. Somit ergibt "R x ZZZZ" den tatsächlichen, gesamten Zählerstand. Ist "R=0", so ist "ZZZZ" der aktuelle Zählerstand.

"The actuation count is stored in the EXIF data of every image.

Get a program that will display *all* of the EXIF data, not just the named fields, such as the one at http://www.takenet.or.jp/~ryuuji/min...fread/english/ (http://www.takenet.or.jp/~ryuuji/minisoft/exifread/english/)
Open a recent image, and look for a line like this:

Unknown (0093)3,9: 18,Y,XXXXX,0,0,0,65535,65535,0

If Y = 0, then count = XXXXX. But, if Y > 1, then count = ( Y * 65536 ) + XXXXX. (In other words, Y is a "rollover" counter that increments every 65536 shots.)

This is a shutter actuation counter, and it increments even if there is no CF card installed, or when shooting tethered, and is not affected by any type of file number resetting. Removing the backup battery for a full day failed to clear the counter, so it appears to be non-volatile."
